Nourishing Cebu: A Holistic Path Through Food, Health, and Education

At Maryhouse Cebu, our community Food Pantry is the heart of a three-pillar mission. We provide whole-person care by integrating sustainable nutrition, essential health services, and educational support for every child.

A Life-Changing Mission in Cebu

Maryhouse Cebu, Philippines is a non-profit organization focused on serving the island of Cebu City. We reinvest all earnings into public missions addressing Food Insecurity, Education, and Health. The repercussions of poverty create a self-perpetuating cycle of disadvantage, affecting brain development in children and limiting access to clean water and safe housing.

Malnutrition affects 1 in 4 children worldwide, causing cognitive impairment and reducing adult earnings by up to 20%. In the Philippines, 1 in 3 children under 5 is malnourished due to poverty and a lack of health education. Our unified, community-led intervention creates models for development that address core needs, ensuring no one is left behind.

Maryhouse Cebu (MHP) formalizes community-based projects to oppose destitution. We integrate nutrition, health, and education through our core facility: a community-led Food Pantry and FoodBank.
